Trees in Belgium

Trees in Belgium are a little different, they are cut in to shapes, all most all of them. I mean in the city.

It doesn't matter what kind they are or anything, they're all cut in to circles or squares or pyramids or whatever.

In our garden we have 6 elm trees. Mom is very protective of these trees. You see when we bought the land that we live on now, it was a cornfield, so there weren't many trees nearby. So then when these trees came up in our garden, she wanted to take really good care of them, and she didn't want them to get out of hand, sooooo she trimmed them in to big green balls.

Here in Iowa no one trims trees unless they're hanging over the road or something, and mom was kind of self-conscious of it, but then we went to Belgium and they trimmed EVERY kind of tree!! Mom was so happy, she came home and trimmed them again. Or rather ordered Sam, Matt and John to trim them again.

You can't see the trees but at least you can see some of our garden.
