Thailand is in the news much these days with red shirts, gun shots, businesses closed down, people staying behind closed doors, and friends worried about friends who live in Thailand.

Some may recognize Thailand better as Siam, as in "King of Siam" and Yul Brenner with his shaved head. As a child, that movie was captivating as I imagined myself in the same position being transported to a far away place and expected to teach. How would I perform? Could I handle the pressure? Could I keep my whits about me and hold to my values? Would I have such an impact on a king?
