Saudi Arabia warns Iran to keep out of Bahrain affairs
Saudi Arabia condemned Iran's 'irresponsible statements', a newspaper reported Saturday, following a parliamentary committee in Tehran which said Riyadh was 'playing with fire' by deploying troops in Bahrain.
Iran 'has no right to violate Bahrain's sovereignty, or to stick its nose in the affairs of Gulf states,' Asharq al-Awsat newspaper quoted a Saudi official as saying.

The official said Bahrain has the right to ask for the help of the Peninsula Shield troops, according to the agreements signed by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
The unrest in Bahrain stirred concern amongst other Sunni-led Gulf countries, most importantly Saudi Arabia, that Shiite-led Iran was meddling in the Bahrain's affairs.
