The Case of the Missing Glasses

I don't exactly remember the total story. But....I will try.

Mom and I had been sight-seeing all day in Prague and we stopped to eat at a kosher restaurant. Mom and I split a dish of spaghetti. The people we were with had to go pick up their kids so we were in a hurry to eat and go. When we had finshed eating we hurried out and started walking to the bus stop where we were to pick up the kids.

Our friends were way ahead of us, we where trying to catch up when mom realized that she didn't know where her glasses were.

We looked all over for them, in her bag, in her pockets, on her head, EVERY WHERE! So we thought that she must have left them at the restaurant, but we couldn't go back because we had to go pick up the kids. So we kept walking, all the time getting farther a way from mom's beloved glasses.

We were trying to think of something we could do, going back was out. If we went back the next day they would most likely would be gone, and we didn't dare tell our friends that we had lost mom's glasses, so we just went on walking.

I had kind of forgotten the whole thing when mom suddenly turned to me and said, "Look!!" as she excitedly pointed at her eyes, with a smile that looked like it was about to burst with laughter at any moment. I looked and we we both burst into uncontrollable laughter.
