I was the woman of Duane's dreams and we built the house to my specks, not just his...a team effort.

The first day, Duane & I were dropped off at a lake some 3 miles away, walked up hill, with our full packs on and arrived late in the day to this musty hole in the ground home that was left alone for one year.

This is what I said about the dugout when I first saw it: #*_++* !! But we were stuck there until the next plane would return in six months...so I made the best of it!
