I like the Parks in London

by Sarah
(Iowa)

I like a lot about London, but the parks in London...they are at the top of my list.

Mom and I went to lots of parks when we were in London. They were all so nice. Nice mowed lawns, nice flower beds, nice big tall trees, wide open spaces, everything about them is just so....inspiring.

When mom and I didn't know what to for a few hours out of the day we would just hop on a subway and go to a park. Some of them we liked so much we went to more then once.

It was interesting to see everybody out and about in the parks. A LOT of people were about, sun bathing, walking or watching a soccer game. If you go to a park in Iowa you don't see many people at all.

When I visit London again, I dare say that I will spend much of my time, among many other things, in the lovely parks of London.
