Global leaders meet for World Economic Forum

Political and financial leaders from around the world are gathering in the Swiss Alps for the annual World Economic Forum in Davos.

This year's overall theme is called "Shaping the post-crisis world".

The Russian prime minister, Vladimir Putin, and the Chinese premier, Wen Jiabao, are expected to take centre stage on the first day of the conference.
