Asia is a big place...so many things to see and experience. Even though there seems to be some kind of a thin common thread throughout Asia, there is also total diversity and general tendencies.

When Sam, Matt and Kari were in Japan, they were surprised at the size of most of the people. The average woman was about the size of our Sarah at age 12. Several people expressed awe at the height of Sam and Matt, who measure in at 6', which is almost average and very common here in the states.

One businessman stood in front of Matt and tilted his head way back, looking up directly at Matt and asked, "Where are you from?" He asked it in such a way that made it seem that he was thinking, "Surely, you are not from this planet!"
