Have you ever just "blown it?" I mean made a real travel mistake? I have. And you'd think I would learn. After all...Petra isn't that far from Amman. We should have gone there. Period. No questions asked. I regret not going to Petra. I also regret not going to Mongolia. I will learn. I promise.

If in Jordan....GO TO PETRA! This is one amazing ancient city. You won't be sorry for the effort. It's unbelievable, almost, that this could be carved out of stone. Trust me. You'll want to see the ancient city of Petra!
