My Take on London Hotels
The good place: the Ambassador Hotel London
Looking for a hotel is really quite a chore...going here and there. We went to so many dumps and we were so tired but finally we found one that was not so bad and mom said, "We will look for one more." Then we found a really nice one, The Ambassador Hotel London, but it was too expensive and mom said, "No, it is too much." And then she said, "Oh, but I just want to see a room. We won’t stay here but I just want to see." So we got a key "just to see.” I opened the door and mom looked in and said, "Blue and white bathroom, TV, we'll take it!" So, we went back down stairs and checked in. Mom said "We will only stay here for one night," but, of course, we stayed there for 3 nights. The first night the TV did not work right. The sound was down really, really low and we could not turn it up, but then the next day we told the people and when we came back that night it was fixed. They had really good breakfasts there… oh, they were so good…..milk, cereal, fruit, eggs, bread, sausage and a ton of other stuff. They were soo good. After 3 days of staying at the Ambassador Hotel London, we went to the place we found right before this hotel and we stayed there the rest of the week. That hotel was ok, but not nearly as nice as the other one. This cheap hotel in London had a nice little window that was really fun to look out of at things. That hotel had breakfast too, but it was not good. But the worst part was that every floor only had like 2 bathrooms so a lot of people had to share. And to top it off, in the bathrooms they did not have showers, only bath-tubs. Ugg…it was really gross, and the bathrooms were just awful dirty. When I was there I had to take a shower “bath” (too bad I did not think of taking one at The Ambassador Hotel London) and then we found out that the door did not have a lock. So I had to take a “bath” in the really dirty bathroom that I had to share with a lot of other people (that I did not know) and there was not a lock on the door. It was very uncomfortable knowing that someone could just walk in while I was taking a “bath”. Moral to the story: Any hotel you stay at is an adventure.
