Mark and I recently took a buzzing fast trip from Capetown to Johannesburg in a rented car. We wish we would have had more time to stop and "smell the roses" or feed the monkeys on the sides of the road or see some African big five animals or the such, but the trip had to be fast to make it to Malawi in time for a conference where we were the main speakers. I loved the big open places and the trees at the roadside stops and the anthills which I also wish we could have taken time to photograph and inspect.

Africa is a place one needs to experience for themselves to fully or even partially understand. We'd love to hear your stories and see your photographs!
